Send a PDF via email using the standard Bubble action

If you want to send a PDF created by PDF Potion via email using the standard Bubble 'Send Email' action (which uses Sendgrid), you can either:

  1. Attach the PDF to the email
  2. Link to the PDF in the body of the email

Attach the PDF to the email

  1. Add the 'Send email' action to the backend workflow you use to process the PDF

  1. Fill out the To, Sender Name, Subject and Body fields

  1. Click on the +Attach file button and add the link value that represents the PDF URL to the File field:

The PDF will now be attached to the email:


Link to the PDF in the body of the email

  1. Add the 'Send email' action to the backend workflow you use to process the PDF

  1. Fill out the To, Sender Name, Subject and Body fields

  1. Reference the link value that represents the PDF URL in the body of the email

A link to the PDF will now be included in the email:
